Edward Lawrence is a freelance broadcast and video journalist, news producer and cameraman currently based in London, UK, working for a range of leading national and international news broadcasters, agencies and clients including the BBC, ITN, Al Jazeera, SBS, and the Press Association.
He holds full and up to date HEFAT (Hostile Environment and First Aid Training) from 1st Option Safety, and has completed a two day BBC/ITN-accredited Public Order Training course at the Metropolitan Police Training Centre.
As a producer, he has experience working on major stories on the ground. This has recently included the Grenfell tower fire, Catalonia Crisis, and Europe Refugee Crisis. His specialist subjects and areas of interest include refugees and global migration.
As a video journalist and broadcast cameraman, he is confident and proficient on a range of broadcast cameras and edits using Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
He has worked across the UK, Europe, Ukraine and Asia.
